I’m Alex, a Bermuda-born photographer who has spent most of my life in and around the water. Scuba diving and freediving have unlocked the underwater environment and let me feel like I’m flying through a world of colour, fish, and intricate reef life. I first started shooting underwater on a GoPro and slowly upgraded my gear so I could share the hidden beauty that most people never get to see. Along the way, I’ve also witnessed the quiet effects of climate change—coral bleaching, warming seas, and acidification—so my work has become a way to both celebrate and document our fragile ocean ecosystem.
